The Village Trestle in Goffstown NH
Gone Jamín - March 24, 2013

It is hard to know where to even begin describing the March 24 Wantu Blues Jam at the Village Trestle in Goffstown. Travis Colby, formerly of Roomful of Blues and now fronting the Travis Colby Band, guest hosted with the house band of Dave Guillemette on bass, Bob Pratte on drums and Chris Noyes on guitar. Larry Vann joined Travis on the keys on many tunes. Don't let the "Old Guys Rule" hat throw you ... the man rocked on the keys!

The house band started hot and just got hotter as the day went on. Iíve had the pleasure of taking part in many Sunday jams at the Trestle since last summer, and I can tell you this was something special. Every player and singer was on his/her game and there was phenomenal entertainment all afternoon long, seamlessly coordinated by our beloved zoomaster, Slutty Pete Zona.

The Trestle was packed and rocking from beginning to end! If you havenít checked out a Sunday afternoon jam here, youíre really missing something extraordinary. This establishment is one of the premier supporters of live music in all of New Hampshire, hiring great acts every week and hosting jams on Fridays and Sundays. Do yourself a favor and check it out!
